Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These terms and conditions govern your use of the County Cycles website and the sale of goods and services by County Cycles Ltd. Please read them carefully before placing an order — by placing an order you agree to be bound by them. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
About us
County Cycles Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05833806), with its registered office at Unit 1, 22B Heol Stanllyd, Cross Hands Business Park, Llanelli, SA14 6RB. You can reach us on 01269 845 656 or at sales@county-cycles.com.
Placing an order
After placing an order you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we confirm acceptance by sending an email that confirms the goods have been dispatched.
The contract between you and County Cycles is formed only when we send you this dispatch confirmation. The contract relates only to the goods whose dispatch we have confirmed. If your order contains more than one item, we are not obliged to supply any other goods until their dispatch has been confirmed in a separate dispatch confirmation.
Our right to cancel
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- the delivery service provider does not deliver to your area;
- one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information we received from our suppliers; or
- we have reason to suspect that there is a risk of a fraudulent transaction.
If we cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and re-credit any amount you have paid, in respect of both the goods and any delivery charge, as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To do so, please contact us using the details above. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. This right does not apply to certain items, such as goods that have been used or are not in a resaleable condition.
Returns and refunds
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your goods within 14 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund. Any item (excluding food and underwear) can be returned for any reason, provided it is returned in ‘showroom condition’ with its original packaging and tags and a valid receipt or delivery note. Returns can be made directly to the County Cycles store, including for purchases made online, or by post.
It is your responsibility to ensure that returned items reach us safely and, in the case of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in their original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories). If returning by post, please use a recorded, ‘signed for’ delivery method, keep your proof of postage, and include a copy of your receipt and the returns form. Send returns to:
County Cycles Ltd
Unit 1, 22B Heol Stanllyd
Cross Hands Business Park
Llanelli
SA14 6RB
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase; card refunds are made to the card used for the original transaction. Due to the high incidence of fraud, we are unable to offer a refund without a valid receipt or delivery note. Refunds for faulty or incorrect items will be made within 14 working days and will include any delivery charges you incurred (excluding ‘Special Delivery’) in returning the item. If goods are delivered in good condition but you wish to return them for another reason, we will refund the full value of the goods, excluding any carriage charge, once we receive them.
Bike returns
If you wish to return a bike, please keep it in the box it arrived in and call us on 01269 845 656 to arrange a collection. Please note:
- if we sent you the incorrect bicycle, we will cover the cost of collection and delivery of the correct model;
- if the bicycle you ordered was delivered correctly but you decide it is not for you, we will charge £25 for the collection;
- please do not ride the bike, as a full refund cannot be given once a bike has been used.
Your legal rights
As a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms affects these statutory rights.
Accuracy of website content
Our team works hard to keep this website accurate and up to date. We cannot, however, be held responsible for any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of parts required for the repair of an item. If you have ordered an item that does not match its description as advertised on our website, we will refund you upon its return.
Demo bikes
When demoing any bike from one of our stores you agree to the following: (1) any damage to the demo bike during your hire period will be assessed and charged to you; (2) if the demo bike is lost or stolen during your hire period, you will be charged the value of the bike, as determined by the County Cycles store manager; and (3) helmets must be worn at all times while riding a demo bike, and County Cycles Ltd accepts no responsibility for any personal injury sustained while riding one of our demo bikes.
Delivery
Delivery charges
Local delivery within a 40-mile radius is free of charge. Deliveries beyond this distance may be subject to courier charges, which will be confirmed at the point of sale.
Estimated delivery times
If your order is placed before 12pm on a weekday and the item is in stock, we aim to dispatch it the same day for delivery within three working days. Orders placed after 12pm may not be dispatched that day, though we will make every effort to do so. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Mondays. Bikes are excluded from these timescales: all bikes are fully built by our Cytech-trained mechanics before dispatch, which means a slight delay, and we will contact you by email or phone to arrange a delivery day for your new bike.
We do our best to ensure availability of all advertised products and to dispatch within the quoted time. If there is a delay we will let you know by email, and the item will be sent as soon as it is available. If you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately. If an item has been discontinued and must be withdrawn, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer an alternative where one is available. County Cycles Ltd has no liability for any delay in delivery; you may cancel a delayed order at any time before dispatch by calling us on 01269 845 656.
All deliveries need to be signed for, so please give a delivery address where someone will be available to sign during normal working hours. When signing, please inspect the packaging and write ‘damaged’ next to your signature if you see any signs of damage — this is especially important when receiving a bicycle. Deliveries are made via couriers such as Royal Mail, UPS, DX, FedEx, DHL and DPD, depending on the weight of your goods and the destination. If no-one is available to sign, or your items are too large for your letterbox, your package will be left in a safe place or a re-delivery arranged.
Liability
We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income or profits, economic or commercial losses and third-party claims. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Payment and security
All card payments, whether online or by telephone, are processed securely by our payment providers (including Klarna and our card payment processor) and are not stored by, or known to, County Cycles personnel.
Privacy
We will never sell or pass on your name and address to any other organisation without your consent, and we will only use the information we collect about you lawfully. For full details of how we handle your personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Voucher codes
- Voucher codes can only be redeemed at the time of purchase.
- Voucher codes cannot be used against any limited edition or exclusive bikes.
- Individual terms and conditions apply to each voucher code — please see the relevant promotion.
- Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with Cycle to Work scheme vouchers.
General
These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you. Nothing said by any salesperson on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
