We cater for all categories of bikes.
We recommend a thorough regular service on the bike to keep it running smoothly.
The servicing we offer are as follows:
BASIC SERVICE (PARTS NOT INCLUDED) £45
- Wipe down frame and inspect cycle (we will advise you if extra work is required).
- Adjustments to gears (front and rear)
- Adjustments to brakes (front and rear)
- Lubricate the chain
- Check condition of headset for wear and tear
- Safety check condition of and inflate tyres
- Safety check both wheels (hubs and spokes) – advise if balance is required.
- Safety check (check nuts and bolts and moving parts)
- Replace valve caps, and cable ends where necessary
GENERAL SERVICE (PARTS NOT INCLUDED) £60
A general service is recommended every 3 to 9 months, dependent on use and includes the above plus:-
- Inspection of chain and cassette for wear (and clean if required)
- Replace chain and cassette if necessary
- True wheels
- Inspect the both wheels and hubs and adjust if needed
- Inspect and tighten headset
- Check and replace cables if necessary
- Check and replace the condition of the brake pads if necessary
- Check alignment of drop out and replace if necessary
- Check disc brake rotor and replace if necessary
FULL SERVICE(Parts not included) £100
A full service is recommended every 12 to 18 months for those who use their bike heavily. It includes all work as above – Plus:-
- Strip bicycle to frame clean and check
- De-grease all parts and service as required
- Replace all cables and brake pads
- Clean wheels
- Replace tyres if necessary
- Change bar tape
