County Cycles is a unique small bicycle specialist based in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, establised over 26 years ago we have worked with cyclists from all abilities and disciplines – from Leisure to Road Racers, Timetrialists and Triathletes. This has helped us develop our business through first hand interaction and feedback from our customers with the mutual aims of providing and delivering a first class service allowing them to achieve their cycling goals. For a cyclist to get the best from their ride, we are ‘Trek FIT service qualified – offering a bespoke bike fitting service enabling our customers maximise their performance and obtain the best possible cycling experience every time they go out riding - we look at fitting the bike to the customer, not the other way round such as riding position, flexibility, posture, foot position, past injury history – a totally individual and personal service that enhances your cycling experience – we work with you and genuinely care how you feel on your bike!
The strength of our Bike Fit process is based on a combination of dedicated, experienced and ‘Trek Bike Fit’ trained staff with a serious committment to customer satisfaction. Even if you are new to cycling, it is better to get your fit now than in a few years time when you may have developed knee/back pain. With the more serious performers it is a known fact from research that 80% of an Aerodynamic improvement will come from your body position with 10% wheel, and 5% others to improve maximum power, speed and efficiency. A Bike Fit session at County Cycles will take approximately 3 hours through a thorough and professional process whilst taking into consideration an individuals cycling ability, physiology, techique and alignment. Everything about you as an individual is evaluated and perfected with the untimate aim that all our customer perform better and more importantly enjoy their riding more as a result of the Bike Fit. The cost of the fit is currently £100 which will include follow up sessions for further adjustments or fine tuning if necessary.
